The Montego Bay Marine Park Trust is an Environmental Non-Governmental Agency (ENGO) and registered Charity, formed by scuba divers in 1992 to protect the marine resources of the Montego Bay Area.  The offices of the Trust are located on the second floor of the Pier 1 Complex, Howard Cooke Boulevard.

Our Vision: To establish the Montego Bay Marine Park as an exemplary model of sustainable healthy marine ecosystems, supported by a community that receives continuing economic rewards from it.

Our Mission: To protect, conserve and restore the Montego Bay Marine Park’s natural resources for the maximum sustainable benefit of the community, the nation, and all mankind.

Our Strategy: By involving the wider community of Montego Bay (residents, government, business, tourism industry) in taking both ownership of, and responsibility for the Park, the Trust will be better enabled to enact the programmes necessary for achieving its mission.
