  • Paul Hurlock is one of the most talented persons in Jamaica. An accomplished musician, songwriter and performer and yes - inventor, he invented the only fully solar energy powered car in Jamaica. Paul is known as the One-man band for 25 years. An exceptional skill which requires concentration and co-ordination. Paul is also an accomplished songwriter - he is identified with the "Some one cutting it down", "Somebody tip dem off". He has produced three albums: Eloha (love), 2 Sides I and Tip dem off. He has written the theme song for "Gloriana".

  • Reggae Sumfest is the largest concert festival in Jamaica, taking place each year in mid-July in Montego Bay. Sumfest, started in 1993, is officially sponsored by Red Stripe. It often attracts young crowds, and features a variety of Jamaican reggae artists such as Damian "Junior Gong" Marley and Stephen Marley, The Mighty Diamonds, Toots & the Maytals, Beres Hammond, Tony Rebel, Andy Vernon, Frankie Paul, and Freddie McGregor, dancehall stars like Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Capleton, and Lady Saw as well as international artistsincluding 50 Cent, Baby Cham, and Rihanna.

  • Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival - This yearly festival showcases a range of genres including country, jazz, reggae and R&B. Past artists have included John Legend, Shaggy, James Ingram, Air Supply, Al Green, KEM, Morgan Heritage, Tami Chynn, Richie Stephens and Bo Diddley.
